FSBODayton.net is a locally owned and operated real estate marketing website company designed for the For Sale By Owner market. Born and raised in the Dayton area, I have always had a passion for Dayton homes and the people who live in them.
My family and I have bought and sold many homes over the years, both on our own and through real estate agents. When we sold homes ourselves, we learned how important it is to get the word out and give people a way to see what our homes had to offer. We didn’t want to pay a full-service real estate agent’s 6% or 7% commission to do what we could do for ourselves—with a little help.
When a national magazine and the New York Times wrote articles about two women in Wisconsin who also thought buyers and sellers should have more options, we took notice. The women started a local company to provide a FSBO (pronounced fizbo) website and yard signs for people who wanted to sell their homes themselves. Inspired by their story, I realized that with over 30 years of marketing experience, my team and I could give people in the Dayton area a new choice—and a better way to sell their homes.
